Summary
Textile Repair Volunteer - one a month at our Repair Cafe in CrieffDetailed description
Remake Scotland promotes sustainable living and as part of that we run a monthly Repair Cafe. The cafe is managed by a staff member however, the repairs are carried out by our wonderful volunteers. We are currently looking for a Volunteer who is skilled at clothing repair and repairing holes/buttons/darning and is skilled at using a sewing machine. We never know what will come through the door!
Our Volunteers get great satisfaction out of sharing their skills with others and knowing that they have saved an item from landfill, not to mention saving someone's prized possession to live on.
We have a great team and wonderful team spirit. If this sounds like something you would be interested in please get in touch.
