Volunteering roles for local community, charities and individuals we will provide donations, event memento & snack. Roles: 2-5hrs over 18's preferred.
We are holding a brand new running festival on the 2nd August 2026 based at Perth Racecourse.
The event is called Perth Running Festival where we anticipate around 1100 runners of all abilities participating in one of our three distances on the day. Half Marathon, 7.5k and a 1 mile fun run.
The focus of the event is participation and completion on Scottish Athletics measured and sanctioned courses, we also wish to engage with local community groups and charities and provide donations, an event memento, and sustenance in return for volunteering on the day. The route leaves Perth Racecourse at 9;30 am heads over the new Destiny Bridge through North Inch over the Queens and Perth Bridges through Norrie Miller Gardens before heading back the same way.
We would love to have you along to help if this is something you could assist with please let me know the number of volunteers available over 18 (under 18's are welcome but must be accompanied by and adult) and we can agree a donation and locations to be supported.
Without the help and support of local volunteers events like this can't happen so we fully appreciate the value you can bring and hope you can assist in some way.
Our main charity partners this year are MND Scotland and MacMillan Cancer Support but also happy to support local charities where we can.
