Summary

Providing support to adults age 16+ with exercise, healthy eating cooking groups and nature-based activities in a mental health setting

Detailed description

Our clients are at the heart of everything we do. Our activities encourage clients to improve their confidence and self-esteem, become more socially connected and enhance their recovery journey. As a volunteer, you will be knowledgeable about the benefits of exercise and nutrition in relation to mental and physical health. You will enjoy motivating people of all backgrounds, developing good relationships with our clients, and contributing to their health and well-being, thus supporting them in improving their quality of life. You will identify, develop, and risk assess walks in and around Perth & Kinross, supervise clients' participation, and encourage others to take part.

A First Aid certificate and Paths For All Walk Leader accreditation would be advantageous, but training can be provided.
