About PKAVS Big Hoose Project

The Big Hoose is a new and exciting project recently launched in P&K with a remit of supporting children and families who are facing financial hardship. The project provides these families with access to free household goods including items like clothing, footwear, toiletries, domestic goods (such as toilet rolls, cleaning products) etc.

Given the current financial climate I am sure it’ll come as no surprise to hear that in the first 6 months the project has grown to the point where we are now looking to recruit some volunteers to help us cope with the ever-increasing demand the project is experiencing. So, if you have some time to spare and what to help make a positive difference to children and families living in P&K then the Big Hoose project may be for you.

The Big Hoose Project is led in part by PKAVS, a charity supporting the wellbeing of people and communities throughout Perth & Kinross.
