Chairperson

As our current Chair steps down next year we are looking for someone to lead our Board of Trustees and help guide the charity into its next chapter.

As Chairperson, you will:

• • Lead and support our Board of Trustees.
  • Chair regular Committee meetings and help shape the charity's future.
  • Work closely with our dedicated volunteers and shop team.
  • Help ensure the charity is well governed and financially sustainable.
  • Act as an ambassador for the charity within the local community.

You don't need to have been a Chair before. We are looking for someone who:

• • Enjoys working with people and bringing teams together.
  • Has good communication and leadership skills.
  • Can think strategically while supporting the day-to-day work of the charity.
  • Is passionate about supporting people affected by cancer in our local community.
  • Shares our values of kindness, respect, and teamwork.

Experience of charity governance or serving on a committee would be helpful, but enthusiasm and commitment are just as important.

The role is voluntary, with attendance at regular Committee meetings and occasional fundraising events.
