Detailed description

St John's Kirk of Perth - Kirk Stewards

St John’s Kirk opens to the public from April until the end of September.

Volunteers welcome visitors and provide them with information. St John’s Kirk is looking for new volunteers to enlarge our current team of stewards so that we can stay open for longer and more often.

Volunteers come from all walks of life, are all ages, all sizes - all different. The ideal steward is friendly and interested, in people and in Perth. Stewards work in pairs so are never alone.

We need people to be there, to welcome, to chat, to perhaps point out some of the beautiful and historic things that are in the kirk. There are two sessions each day: 11am – 1.30pm, and 1.30pm to 4pm. Volunteers can choose how many, or how few, they want to do. Most volunteers do one or two sessions a month.

If you would like to volunteer, or find out more about being a steward, please visit St John’s Kirk on Mondays to Saturday, 11am - 4pm, or contact Kay Morrison
