Summary

Cornhill Macmillan Centre is currently recruiting volunteers for a new and exciting role: Bereavement Walk and Talk Group Volunteer.

Detailed description

Volunteers will support the operation of 'Bereavement Walk and Talk' sessions by facilitating gentle, informal walking groups that provide a safe and supportive environment for connection, conversation, and companionship to those bereaved. Volunteers will play a key role in helping participants feel welcome, heard, and not alone.

Ideally, volunteers will have a background in counselling, social work, or bereavement services, or be a student in these areas.

Interested volunteers must apply with Cornhill Macmillan and successfully complete the onboarding process: interviews, PVG Disclosure checks, and all trainings: Paths For All, EASE Training, and those required by NHS Tayside. For more information or to apply, please contact us.
