EVENT SUPPORT VOLUNTEER – PERTH LADIES DAY

Time commitment: Thursday 15 May 2025 – 10:30am-4:30pm or 3-7pm (preferred). Please get in touch if you’d like to volunteer but these times don’t work for you.

About this volunteering opportunity

We’ve been a charity partner with Perth Racecourse for over a decade, and have raised an incredible £116,000 by fundraising on their fabulous Ladies Day. And you could be there this year, helping us raise even more funds for our life-saving research and life-changing care.

What will I be doing?

·       You’ll help us to raise funds through bucket collecting, and collection donation envelopes.

·       You’ll be that friendly face, connecting with racegoers and encouraging donations.

·       You’ll be there to listen to people’s stories and hand out information.

What skills or qualities do I need?

·       Bags of enthusiasm!

·       Able to quickly connect with people.

·       Happy to work independently or as part of a team.

What do I get out of it? 

·       Fun! You’ll have a great time and enjoy the party atmosphere!

·       Fundraising experience at a major sporting event.

·       The chance to meet new people from a wide range of backgrounds and experiences.

How will you support me? 

·       You’ll get a volunteer handbook, full of useful information about volunteering with us.

·       You’ll get a briefing, and ongoing support from the staff team.

·       You’ll get a Breast Cancer Now t-shirt, and light refreshments. Sorry, we can’t refund any expenses.
